The affordable housing issue continues to raise scrutiny throughout Westchester County. The Village of Larchmont (VOL) will be one of the first areas where the housing stipulated in the settlement will go.
The VOL is currently complying with the affordable housing agreement as per the settlement between Westchester County and the Federal Government, according to VOL Mayor Josh Mandell, who directed questions regarding the agreement to representatives of Westchester County Government.
In order to market the affordable housing units across the county—including in the Larchmont area—an extensive advertising campaign will be launched designed to reach all potentially eligible households, including those “least likely to apply,” according to the Westchester County Fair And Affordable Housing Marketing Plan.
